1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions („T&Cs“) apply to all live education sessions, technical training courses, seminars, workshops and related educational events organized by Coating Camp GmbH („Coating Camp“, „we“, „us“ or „our“).
By registering for a Coating Camp event, the participant or the company making the registration („Customer“) agrees to these T&Cs.
Additional event-specific information published on the Coating Camp website, registration page, quotation or invoice forms part of the agreement.
2. Registration and Contract
Registration may be made through the Coating Camp website, by e-mail, quotation or another registration method offered by Coating Camp.
A registration becomes binding when Coating Camp confirms the registration or, where applicable, when payment is received.
Coating Camp may limit the number of participants for an event.
3. Participation Fee and VAT
The participation fee is the price stated on the relevant event registration page, quotation or invoice. VAT may be charged or may not be charged depending on the applicable VAT rules for the specific transaction. The VAT treatment may depend, among other things, on:
the place where the live education session takes place; whether the Customer is a business or private individual; the Customer’s country of residence or establishment; whether the Customer provides a valid VAT identification number;
applicable EU VAT rules;
applicable local VAT rules in the country where the event takes place; and
whether an applicable exemption, reverse-charge mechanism or other special VAT treatment applies.
Coating Camp will apply the VAT treatment that is legally applicable to the relevant transaction.
The displayed price may therefore be stated as:
a net price, with applicable VAT added; or
a gross price, including applicable VAT,
as expressly indicated during the registration process or on the relevant invoice.
The Customer is responsible for providing correct billing information, including company name, registered address and VAT identification number where applicable.
4. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed, the participation fee must be paid in full before the beginning of the event. Payment can be made using the payment methods offered during registration or stated on the invoice.
Any bank charges, payment-provider fees or other charges imposed on the Customer’s side are borne by the Customer. If payment is not received by the applicable deadline, Coating Camp may cancel the registration.
5. Event Programme
The programme, speakers, schedule and location will be communicated on the relevant event page or registration confirmation.
Coating Camp reserves the right to make reasonable changes to:
speakers;
presentations;
programme sequence;
schedule;
venue;
technical content; or
event format.
Such changes do not automatically entitle the Customer to a refund where the essential educational purpose of the event remains substantially unchanged.
6. Cancellation by the Participant
Cancellation must be submitted in writing to:

Unless different cancellation conditions are stated for a particular event, the following cancellation policy applies:
15–30 calendar days before the event: 50% refund.
Less than 15 calendar days before the event: no refund.
Any non-refundable payment-provider, bank or transaction costs may be deducted from the refund where legally permissible.
The cancellation date is the date on which the written cancellation is received by Coating Camp.
7. Replacement Participant
If a registered participant cannot attend, the Customer may request that another person from the same company attend instead.
The replacement request should be submitted to Coating Camp before the event. Coating Camp may request the information necessary to register the replacement participant.
8. Cancellation or Postponement by Coating Camp
Coating Camp may cancel, postpone or reschedule an event for reasons including:
insufficient participation;
speaker or trainer unavailability;
venue problems;
technical problems;
travel restrictions;
governmental restrictions;
safety concerns;
force majeure; or
other circumstances outside Coating Camp’s reasonable control.
If Coating Camp cancels an event, the Customer will normally be offered either: transfer of the registration to the rescheduled event; or
a refund of the participation fee paid for the cancelled event.
Coating Camp is not responsible for participants‘ travel, accommodation, visa or other expenses arising from an event cancellation or postponement.
9. Training Content
The training content is provided for educational and professional information purposes. Coating Camp and its speakers aim to provide technically accurate information but do not guarantee that every recommendation, process parameter, technical example or procedure is suitable for every individual production process or application.
Participants remain responsible for assessing the suitability of the information for their own operations and for complying with applicable laws, standards, safety requirements and manufacturer instructions. The training does not constitute individualized engineering, legal, regulatory or safety advice.
10. Intellectual Property
All presentations, slides, documents, photographs, videos, graphics, technical illustrations and other training materials provided by Coating Camp or its speakers are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Unless expressly permitted, participants may not:
reproduce the materials commercially;
distribute them to third parties;
publish them online;
sell or sublicense them;
use them to create competing training products; or
record and distribute the training session.
Materials provided to participants are intended for their own professional or internal company use.
11. Recording and Photography
Participants may not audio-record, video-record or otherwise reproduce presentations or training sessions without prior written permission from Coating Camp and, where applicable, the respective speaker.
Coating Camp may photograph or record parts of an event for documentation, educational or promotional purposes, subject to applicable data-protection and image-rights requirements.
12. Certificates
Where a certificate is offered, it confirms participation in the relevant Coating Camp education session. A certificate of participation does not constitute a professional qualification, accreditation or licence unless expressly stated otherwise.
13. Participant Conduct
Participants must behave professionally and respectfully toward speakers, trainers, Coating Camp employees, venue personnel and other participants. Coating Camp may exclude a participant without refund where the participant seriously disrupts the event, behaves abusively or threateningly, violates safety rules, damages property or engages in unlawful conduct.
14. Liability
Coating Camp is liable in accordance with applicable mandatory law.
To the extent legally permitted, Coating Camp shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of business opportunities or other indirect damages resulting from participation in an education session. Coating Camp is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings at the event venue. Nothing in these T&Cs excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
15. Travel and Accommodation
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the participation fee does not include:
flights;
transportation;
accommodation;
visa costs;
travel insurance;
parking; or
other personal expenses.
Participants are responsible for arranging these services themselves.
16. Force Majeure
Coating Camp shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, war, governmental restrictions, strikes, transportation disruptions, venue closure or serious technical failures.
Where reasonably possible, Coating Camp will offer an alternative date or event format.
17. Data Protection
Personal data provided during registration will be processed for purposes including registration, payment processing, event organization, communication with participants and fulfilment of contractual obligations. No personal data will be shared with third party.
18. Applicable Law
These T&Cs are governed by the laws of the Republic of Austria, subject to mandatory provisions of applicable consumer-protection law.
19. Jurisdiction
For transactions with business customers, the competent court shall be determined in accordance with applicable Austrian law. For consumers, mandatory statutory jurisdiction rules remain unaffected.
20. Severability
If any provision of these T&Cs is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
